Hi parents 👋
Welcome to this week’s Little Investors story!
Today, we’re helping kids learn an important money lesson:
Some things are valuable because they make you happy, not because they are shiny or new!

Max and the Red Car
INTRO
Max had three robots.
One lit up.
One zoomed.
One danced.
The dancing robot was Max’s favourite.
VISITING TOM
One day, Max went to Tom’s house.
Tom showed a shiny red car.
Vroom! Beep-beep!
It was fast and loud.
TRADING TOYS
“Let’s trade,” said Tom.
“You take the car.
I take your dancing robot.”
Max looked at the car.
Max looked at his robot.
He thought and thought.
Then he said, “Okay!”
They swapped toys.
MISSING A ROBOT
At home, Max played with the car.
Zoom! Zoom!
It was fun.
But later, he looked at his shelf.
No robot.
Max felt a little sad.
“I miss my dancing robot,” he said.
REALIZATION
The next day, Max saw Tom.
“Do you like the robot?” Max asked.
Tom smiled. “Yes! He’s so funny!”
Max smiled too.
“I think I liked him more than I knew.”
WHAT MAX LEARNED 💡
Some toys are special, even if they don’t beep or zoom.
They’re special because they make you happy.
ASK YOUR CHILD ⁉️
What toy makes you really happy?
Would you give it to someone else?
